Meet Dr. Heidi Rendall

“I grew up in the Boston area with my parents and my twin brother who is now a PA at Duke. My father was an internist. Before graduating from Concord Academy in 1967, I was very active in the Greater Boston Youth Symphony where I played the violin. 

“After two years of study at Vasser College, I transferred to Princeton University when they began accepting women students and graduated in 1971. By 1979 I earned my medical degree from University of California, San Francisco and moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1981. I opened my own solo practice in November 1982 to focus on providing the exceptional health care I dreamed of.

“My hobbies include sailing, walking, gardening, and one day to play music again.”

The clinic is a member of Society of Innovative Medical Practice Design, a professional organization of physicians promoting a direct financial relationship with their patients in order to restore the integrity of the patient-physician relationship. We believe in their mission to ensure that physicians and patients retain the right to design and implement practices that enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, service, and value of healthcare.

Staff Members

At Anchor Medical Clinic, medical assistant Roxanne and office manager Elizabeth provide the warm, friendly and experienced customer service and patient support you so rightly deserve as a patient of Dr. Heidi Rendall. To help you relax a bit before your appointment, enjoy a bit of hot tea and soothing music - a bit of tranquility in a world filled with noise and stress.

To help create a more relaxed and personable environment, Dr. Rendall often brings her two people-loving pooches to the clinic. Because we are sensitive to our patients' needs, let us know if you rather not meet meet them in person. Your peace of mind is important to us.

Clinic Hours

9 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (appointments outside normal hours available with advanced scheduling).

We work with like-minded labs, diagnostic services and fellow direct practice doctors and medical clinics, many of which do not accept insurance. We keep old-fashioned paper files – no records are kept electronically so your sensitive medical information is safe from computer hackers!
